Over the weekend of October 19th, Liz and I were in Phoenix, Arizona. We decided to get up early and take a hike up Camelback Mountain. It’s a baby, compared to Pikes Peak and Kilimanjaro, topping out at an elevation of 2,706 feet above sea level.
Still, once on top, we had a beautiful view of the valley and early morning sunrise. Though small in comparison to our Kilimanjaro goal, we got a great workout and a chance to further break in our hiking boots.
